SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School is a community-based initiative.  Anyone in the community is welcome to join us at the Terror Dome on Sundays during the Summer (10am-4pm) for open play alongside Terror Dome greats, one-on-one coaching, and clinics that couple basketball skills with math and science principles using the Jr. NBA/ Microsoft STEM Curriculum.

Sunday School offers an opportunity for parents and students to meet TDSA staff and audit our program.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Students are encouraged to create the community they wish to live in through community service projects. Projects include park and neighborhood cleanup; planting and maintaining community gardens; mural painting; collection of clothing, food, toys, books, school supplies and personal care items for those in need; and assisting seniors, disabled persons and others with light errands, yard cleanup and maintenance, and snow removal.

TDSA takes an "each one, teach one" approach to community mentorship to set common goals and foster respect and understanding between the  generations.

Lastly, TDSA is committed to the overall well-being of our students and their families, and as such, provides wrap-around support focused on addressing the non-academic barriers of individual students – in partnership with their parents, school, and other essential community-based service providers.
